I’m so excited for my devotional time, this coming year! For the past five years, I have been doing a lot of reading in Revelation, and that has taken up MOST of my ‘Deep Dive‘ times. What on earth is a Deep Dive?Ever read the Bible in your private time, and just have this inclination to read a little deeper… go a little further… Maybe you want to open up some Bible resource (even if, for you… for now, that resource is Google). That is a deep dive. But, I have not be able to take many deep dives with my devotions because I have been giving much time to my doctoral thesis.
PRAISE GOD! Finally turned in my final draft three days after Christmas. As is my custom, I sat down a few days ago to plan out my 2024 reading plan. While I was setting out to prepare my devotional calendar for 2024, I had a member of my staff ask if I had any ideas that they could explore to make this year’s time with the Lord ‘fresh’. I thought of books to recommend, then I thought… ‘Hey… want to join me in my devotional journey?’ Then, someone else asked… before I knew it, there was a team of nearly 20 people that were joking me on this quest. So, I thought to myself… perhaps THIS is the time to launch something that’s been in my heart for a while…
