Wouldn’t it be nice to recognize when
to ‘pivot’ in your devotions?
Oftentimes, when we are reading the Word, it is easy to miss some of the significant ‘pivots’ in Scripture. What is a pivot? I define a pivot as that moment in the narrative where our attention, as readers, should be redirected. Consider the book of Revelation… time and time again, we encounter John saying these words… ‘And I saw…’. What a major clue for the readers and hearers alike – that they would lean in just a little more to imagine what it is that John beheld, while ‘in the Spirit‘.
In this first DEEP DIVE, I take a passage that was given me by one of our DeepDivers! I will share four major pivot markers in Scripture, and how to use them to help in your Bible Study.
